I am back. I took last week off from fasting and blogging. D and I have been doing repair to the house, and painting. We have decluttered room by room. We have pack up stuff to move. And had a two day garage sale Friday and Saturday. I am very tired, but so happy to be clearing stuff out and preparing for the changes that are coming.
Another thing that was out of my usual routine this week was eating take out and fast food. I hardly ever eat fast food. We cooked a little bit as we are trying to utilize the food on hand in the freezer and pantry so we don’t have to move food. But with so much work to do we have eaten fast food and ordered Chinese delivered and picked up stuff from the Deli at the grocery store.
I am feeling like a stuffed sausage at this point and looking forward to fasting at least one meal a day and also having food I usually eat, like salads and more vegetables. Also I found myself thinking the food would give me more energy. We were working like crazy from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm. I normally have a desk job. This physical labor, plus the longer hours left me low on energy. But the food didn’t really give me energy. It also became an excuse for a break.
My last day of fasting was August 19. I had fasted 208 meals at that point. I shall begin again today. I am fasting lunch.
